Yes. The library contains a collection of books targeted toward a pre-K through 1st grade reading level. While this collection was established to support our Early Childhood Care and Education curriculum, all students, faculty and staff are welcome to check them out to read to or with the children in their lives.

You can find these books in our library catalog Primo .  Choose the browse search option and browse by subject. Enter the search term picture books. Your search will return a number of entries. Click on either Picture Books (FAST) or Picture Books for Children (LCSH) and you will see a list of picture books owned by the library. Click on any book on the list and scroll to the bottom of the screen. There you will find virtual browse. You can click either the right or left arrows to see books shelved near the one you have chosen. Click on each book to get location information. Picture books are found at DeKalb, Newton and South DeKalb campuses.

Finally, always feel free to contact us personally. You can send a text message to 404-800-1811 and we'll answer it as soon as we can. You can also call us at 404-297-9522, ext 1850 and talk to us. Of course we're always happy to help our students in person, so come on in to one of our three Library locations!
